Inside of the nine tracks that compose the cd they feel the clear infuences of the POP-punk of Californian matrix, joyfull and catchy rhythms and melodies that aren’t hard to enter in head from the first listenings. Pieces as “Jonny & Mary ballad” or “Sleppy like today” could calmly seem songs of some bands of beyond the ocean… and instead draft of an italian quartet! In “Crime scenes - Don' t cross” the band demonstrates to know to make to us also in acoustic, the result is a beautiful one danced in Dashboard Confessional style (without to forget then the end about “Runaway” with beautiful ones interlaces of acoustic guitar and violin). The cd has the beauty to still turn out “fresh” also after several listenings, sign that the group is successful to put with 9 pieces that in their kind turn out to be however several. |

Note: I Minnie’s sono una delle band più conosciute della scena punk-rock europea, grazie a una ricca discografia, innumerevoli Tour e la partecipazione a festival importanti in Italia e all’estero, come il Deconstruction nell’edizione del 2004 e il Tora!Tora, la scorsa estate.
L’EP, prodotto da Paolo Mauri, rappresenta un punto di arrivo e una nuova partenza per il gruppo milanese, a conclusione ideale del tour dei 10 anni che per tutto il 2005 li ha portati in giro con i loro pezzi storici.
Raccoglie cinque brani; l'inedita "Il Pane e le Rose", più altre quattro canzoni, scelte da ognuno dei quattro dischi già pubblicati e rivisitate per l'occasione: "Oggi" e "We Are" in chiave acustica, "In casa" ed "Io farei Accademia", con un nuovo arrangiamento.
Alla parte audio si aggiunge una traccia multimediale: il video live di "We Don’t Want You To Dance", registrato durante il concerto acustico tenuto la scorsa estate a Malamanera (uno squat di Milano) poco prima del suo sgombero avvenuto in luglio.
