Anomia was formed in 2000 from the meet of 4 classmates with the aim to compose music inspired by alternative rock and post grunge.The Band is influenced by many groups such as Creed,Incubus,Deftones,The Black Maria,The Used,Lost Prophets.Today the line-up of the band is a little be different from the first and is composed by Pedro (voice),Lusaz (bass),Dada (drum),Leo (guitar).Anomia recorded 3 demos but just the last one ,FRAME OF A MOMENT (2004), is the official promo of the band and was created with Stefano Brandoni and Filippo Schiavini.In 2002 the Anomia win ROCK THE NIGHT FESTIVAL and in 2005 the ROCKASTLE FESTIVAL that allow the band to play in important festivals of the north of Italy like Casoni Festival and Left Space.In june 2005 Anomia played at ROLLING STONE in Milan for the EMERGENZA final contest and had a good success.Frame of a Moment is lucky for the band that start to have more visibility and increase the number of shows in many parts of Italy.Several years across schools,small live clubs and parties gave to Anomia an important live experience and take the band to have many contacts for several compilation with Italian and european release.The first compilation is called AFTER LIFE FOR ASIA and is produced by Munina Records,the second is titled ROCK AND CONTAMINATIONS VOL.4 and is produced by Sana Records,the third is called PUNCKRONICA and is produced by Angus records.This compilation olso will be release in many states of Europe like Spain,France,Germay,Holand,Belgium,Sweden, in may 2006.In December 05 L.y.o.n the first track of Frame of a Moment is choosen by Anomolo records for another compilation titled SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO DOWN(LOAD).In march 2006 the band recorded a new song "Dude in a Camera" that is just choosen by Indie Box (an important Italian indipendent label) for a compilation called "IndieBox Compilation Vol.1" that contains important bands like Rufio,MXPX,A Wilhelm Scream,L'invasione degli Omini Verdi,Pig Tails and many others... Dude in A Camera is just the prelude to the "CLOSING UP THE BASEMENT" recordings...The album was recorded,mixed and mastered @ Living Rhum Recordings Studio by Giovanni "Gio" Bottoglia and it contains 10 tunes.Closing up the basement refers to our personal life and experiences made of power and melodic sound!!! The album will be released in Febuary '07 so stay tuned!!!
